Its airline segment comprises five tour operator airlines operating a fleet of aircraft across Europe. The cruise division includes Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, TUI Cruises, and Marella Cruises, offering expedition, luxury, and premium voyages. TUI Hotels & Resorts manages a portfolio of hotels at holiday destinations worldwide, while TUI Musement provides global tours, transfers, and multi-day activities. The group serves customers in Northern, Central, and Western European regions through its tour operator business and sales operations. TUI was formed in 1968 as Touristik Union International through the merger of several German tour operators. In 2014, TUI AG and TUI Travel PLC merged to create the fully integrated TUI Group. The company also operates the Robinson hotel brand and participates in vacation hotel operators such as Iberotel, Grecotel, and RIU.
