Hayasa Metals Inc., formerly Fremont Gold Ltd., is an exploration-stage mining company focused on the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in the Tethyan belt of Armenia. Incorporated in 2007, the company holds exploration licenses for the Vardenis copper-gold project in central Armenia and the Urasar mineral district in northern Armenia. The Urasar district contains the Black River, Chibukhlu, and Hanqakutak deposits, which were identified during Soviet-era exploration. Hayasa Metals has signed a strategic alliance term sheet with a major mining company and is pursuing additional project applications for nickel-antimony and copper-molybdenum prospects.
